Renáta Forgács

Renáta Forgács

Hungarian Language Solutions was set up in 2009 by Renáta Forgács, an English-Hungarian freelance translator. A British-Hungarian dual citizen, Renáta has been living in the UK since 2004 and has been providing high quality translations from English into her native Hungarian and Hungarian lessons since 2006.

Renáta has a BSc in Economics from Budapest Business School, Hungary and attended City University’s ‘Translation Theory’ course in London. In 2011 she was lucky enough to have been awarded an EU-grant which allowed her to travel to Munich, Germany, and attend a course on intercultural communication. From 2012 – 2013 she attended City&Guild’s PTLLS (Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector) course and deepened her understanding of the theoretical and practical framework of teaching in the lifelong learning sector.

Committed to Continuing Professional Development, each year she attends the 2-week teachers’ training course organised by the University of Pécs and learns about the latest developments in teaching Hungarian as a foreign language.

Júlia Taskó

Terezia Gondon

Terezia Gondon

Terezia Gondon graduated from the University of Debrecen as a teacher of Hungarian language and literature in 2002. Since then, except for a minor interruption (between 2007 and 2009, when she lived in London), she has been working as a teacher in a secondary school in Hungary.

She loves her job and always tries to innovate. Therefore, she also graduated as a drama teacher in 2016.

She has long been interested in how she can help foreigners studying Hungarian, so in 2021 she completed a special training at the Károli Gáspár University in Budapest, where she received a qualification as a Hungarian as a foreign language teacher.

She likes to learn foreign languages, discover other cultures and traditions. She is currently studying Italian. There were also emigrated Hungarians in her own family, which also encourages her to help those who want to learn Hungarian.

Márta Sohár

Márta Sohár

Márta lives with her family in Tapolca, Hungary. She teaches Hungarian as a foreign language, Mathematics, Russian and German. She gained her teaching degree at the University of Szeged, after which she studied and worked in Moscow. During these years she found herself in a multicultural environment, using a foreign language in real-life situations, which has inspired Márta throughout her teaching career. As a result, her lessons today are interactive and dynamic, and her teaching methods create an authentic language environment and a relaxed atmosphere.

For Márta, both personal and professional development are important, and she seeks opportunities to take part in workshops and events on how she can be a better and more effective teacher.

In her free time, Márta enjoys hiking and jogging.

Anikó Lilla Varga

Anikó Lilla Varga

Anikó Lilla Varga graduated as a librarian, a teacher of Hungarian grammar and literature and an international marketing expert. She studied for these qualifications at various universities in Eger, Budapest and Székesfehérvár.

She took part in a special training course at the Károli Gáspár University in Budapest, where she obtained the qualification known as Teacher of Hungarian as a Foreign Language. She has always had a passion for languages, that’s why she is learning Spanish now. In her family there were also some relatives who emigrated, which inspires her to help people who want to learn Hungarian.

Success stories

If you're planning on Simplified Naturalization, I strongly recommend HLS’ course. These angels patiently taught me everything I needed to know to ace the interview. Sitting in my home in Budapest, I can't thank them enough for their encouragement and kindness throughout the process.
